"noee alcantaar:)
usually people go to university for 4 to 7 years and in high school they usually study in animal Biology."
OR......
volunteer at local aquarium/zoo, if ocean setting is not accessible. Otherwise, volunteering at local universities or other ocean-related "venues" can give valuable experience. Otherwise if a college/university that offers related degree programs, then starting out as a volunteer or base-level employee will give you the way in to many areas that can become valuable assets for training experience or direct you in the right path for the desired career path. Granted you may start out as getting the "short-end of the stick" job-wise, but working up thru that way, can actually help rather than hinder you, in these types of fields. Good luck to everyone!!!! =)
The generally accepted standard is a Master's Degree.

A Master's Degree is the accepted standard.
There is no license or certification to become a marine biologist; usually a BS and/or MS degree in biology, specializing in marine science or marine biology, wiht the appropriate field experience, would suffice as credentials. There are several marine biology websites. http://www.marinebio.com http://www.oceancareers.com/ http://www.marinecareers.net http://life.bio.sunysb.edu/marinebio/becoming.html
I doubt you have to intern, but it probably looks really good on a resme to get a marine biology job.
