If you are interested in buying Australian stamps to collect, there are a number of ways you can go about it.

These sets are considerably less expensive than MUH year sets and are still a quality product.
You can go to any Australia Post (Australia's national postal carrier) outlet and buy the latest release packets of MUH stamps at the current postal rates or, you can visit the Australia Post web site and browse or order on line.
Finally, you can subscribe to the "Stamp Bulletin" and be sent a small free periodical magazine style booklet listing all immediate past stamp issues and upcoming releases with the details of design, availability and format of each stamp type. The "Stamp Bulletin" also comes complete with an order form.
