12x12 square hole in basement floor what is it for
Nothing is in a hole.
This is another name for what most people call a 'Keyhole saw' . This has a blade of 6-8 inches, narrowing to a point, with fairly small teeth about 10-12 to an inch. The idea is to drill a hole in the wood or drywall, insert the saw and cut the hole you want. Many electricians and 'cable guys' use it to fit new boxes in existing walls.
.99 yds
Any sort of digging animal may leave a similar hole. Is there a small dog around?
I say 1.09 cu ft.
What is the value of a 6 and a half inch craftsman saw 1959
A 1/4 inch bit will do it.
The points per inch is exactly that, the number of cutting points in each inch. In conventional saws the greater number of points indicates the saw's ability to cut harder, denser material. Some hacksaws have 28-32 point per inch, while a wood cutting ripsaw may have only 6-8 .
