During that time, they visited Tenerife, the Cape Verde Islands, the Brazilian coast, Argentina, Uruguay, Tierra del Fuego, Chile, the Galapagos Archipelago, Tahiti, New Zealand, Tasmania and the Keeling Islands.

He went on a trip on a ship and studied things not in a school but he did research

on his own he studied many things and he did most of his research on the Galapagos Islands and there he giant animals and that is where he got the idea of evolution.

Charles Darwin, best known for his theory on evolution, did most of his work in England. Although he traveled around the world to collect samples of species, he spent his last remaining years working in Downe, Kent.
