From Egypt to Medea in west Saudi Arabia just across the gulf of Aqaba, then back to Egypt to fetch his people, then back to Medea but this time by crossing the Gulf of Aqaba. He and his people then meandered around the vast Saudi Arabian deserts as punishment for disobeying God. After 40 years, they arrived just east of the Jordan River across from the fortress of Jericho.
