Henry claimed he had been misled about Anne's appearance. Hans Holbein (I think) painted a portrait of her that was, apparently, rather flattering. Henry didn't find Anne attractive and the marriage was annulled. After the annulment Anne remained in England and was referred to as the Royal Sister. An annulment is somewhat different to a divorce.
