I have searched through my books and the internet, and it seems that no one knows what day he died. The most I can give you is that in May of 1810, when he went out with his traps and accompanied by two Delaware Indian employees hunting deer. All were killed by Blackfeet, Drouillard's body decapitated and disemboweled, then hacked apart.
