You may be able to get a diagram of the fuse box from a GM dealer's parts dept. or service center.
You can bypass your 1988 Buick Skylark heater core by removing the heater core water supply hoses. There will be to water hoses. Connect the water hoses to each other.

The Isuzu Trooper has a diagram for how to route the serpentine belt under the hood. The diagram is located on top of the fan shroud on the left side of the hood locking latch.
There should be a routing diagram under the hood. If it is the 2.8L V6 the diagram is on a guard above the belt between the power steering pump and the water pump.

There's a round cover on the bottom of the engine oil pan, you need a special tool to remove it, it's inside that hole.
