See Related LinksSee the Related Links for "Automotive Wiring Diagrams" to the bottom for the answer.there is no ignition wire for the stereo, so what you need to do (what i did) is take the ignition wire from the cigarette lighter, as it only works when the ignition is on. i extended my stereo live ignition cable (u can use any wire) and fed it through to the cigarette lighter cable, made a little cut in the plastic casing of the wire, attached my wire to it, covered it with electrical tape, and voila, the stereo now works as normal!! hope this helps, if its not clear, let me know. rikxx

Yellow wire is your ignition wire.
A crossed ignition wire and a power window wire could cause this problem. Check the wiring below the dashboard. You should be able to find the bared wires.
purple is the trigger wire for the starter. Yellow is the ignition wire.
The ignition wire that run to the cap is red. The one that to the key ignition is blue.
To wire an ignition barrel in the Citroen Saxo, begin by disconnecting the wire at the negative terminal of the battery. A lead wire has to go to the ACC terminal on the ignition barrel. The starter relay wire goes to the ST terminal and the ignition wire is connected to the IGN terminal.
what about the ignition switch wiring
the inline fuse for the ignition requires remove the bezel panel and the gauge panel from dash. trace the red wire up and to the top rear right of the dash you'll find a lump in the wire.
The ignition wire in a Nissan 350z is black and red. The starter wire is white/red and the second starter wire is white/green.
The main Ignition wire from the switch is dark blue, look under your steering column, and there are screws to separate a piece of plastic, directly behind your steering wheel, and you will see the dark blue wire coming from the switch
There are 3 stages locate the obd plug and find pin 8 then turn ignition to pos 2 with a fused wire ( a piece of wire with a fuse in it) ground pin 8 for 4-5 seconds turn ignition off repeat this procedure 2 more times but for 8-12 seconds and then the service indicator will be reset.
