Where do i top up my coolant on a rover 25
No , on my coolant reservoir there is a cold fill mark . When the engine is cold the coolant level is supposed to be up to the mark . When the engine is warmed up the coolant level is higher
1st - down Neutral - up 2nd - up 3rd - up 4th - up
The coolant is added by filling up the reservoir bottle. This model is not filled through a radiator cap.
Check the overflow tank. Top up to indicated mark if necessary. When cool, remove radiator cap and top up rad with cleen water or coolant.
Check if it is consuming coolant or there is oil in the coolant. If either of these is true, you probably have a coolant leak or a bad head gasket, or a crack in your block or head. If not, you probably have a sticking thermostat.
No the 600 ml concetrant coolant will not harm your car. The ratio, however will be affected.
Yes
No, there are different types of coolant though so make sure you use/refill with something that is compatible with the liquid already in your system. If you use two different types of coolant they may clog up or end up not functioning as it should.
You don't need to use a Honda brand coolant. You just need to know what type of coolant your vehicle requires. Regular coolant (green) and dexcool(orange) Do not mix these two up! When you look at the coolant reservoir it should tell you what type it needs, if not there look in the owners manual or if all else fails just peer inside the reservoir or radiator cap(make sure the car is not hot or you might just have a face full of hot coolant) to see what color it is. to make it easier, they make a coolant, which is compatible with any color coolant.
If there is coolant on the top radiator hose, it may be coming from the hose itself. It may have a hole or cut in it where coolant is spraying out when the car heats up. If there's no hole in the hose, check to see if the clamp needs to be tightened up.
I looked up a newer Honda that is comparable and they are around 500 to 600 pounds. Hope this helps. You can go to Honda website and see the weights for newer ones.
