Where do i top up my coolant on a rover 25
can you tell what are the marks for a rover 25 14 on a 52 reg for got to mark it up thanks
Did you replace the throttle body warming plate? To bleed properly run the engine THEN undo the coolant cap and top up to full - do not undo when cold as the expansion tank is lower than the head of the radiator, always use orange extended life coolant Dom www.landroversalvage.ca
No , on my coolant reservoir there is a cold fill mark . When the engine is cold the coolant level is supposed to be up to the mark . When the engine is warmed up the coolant level is higher
Through the oil filler cap on top of the engine
There has never been a land rover or any other type of vehicle on top of Mount Everest. Edit: They landed a helicopter on it twice in 2005 and a land rover was taken up Mount Erebus.
The coolant is added by filling up the reservoir bottle. This model is not filled through a radiator cap.
Check the overflow tank. Top up to indicated mark if necessary. When cool, remove radiator cap and top up rad with cleen water or coolant.

three possibilities , fan thermostat switch is bad or cooling fan relay is bad, or radiator is low on coolant (possibly due to a leak - check reservoir & top up if needed).
Yes
If there is coolant on the top radiator hose, it may be coming from the hose itself. It may have a hole or cut in it where coolant is spraying out when the car heats up. If there's no hole in the hose, check to see if the clamp needs to be tightened up.
Top up with correct water anty-freze mix, take cap off expansion tank, turn on engine and allow to idle for 3 minuets or so, you can watch the bubbles coming up in the expansion tank. strongly massage the return pipe, big pipe on the top of the rad left side as you face it, coolant should shoot into the expansion tank as you do this. once it is cool check if you need to top up coolant mix and off you go. ps do not take the cap of the expansion tank when the engine is hot.
