Best Answer

one answer:

In laboratories or anywhere that has an open space, clean facility, sinks, and a big table to perform or observe experiments. Also, many scientists teach, so you will find them at universities.

another answer:

Depending on the field of science, you will find them anywhere...in jungles, deserts, snow country, under the sea, in the air, in space, or anywhere their curiosity takes them or humanity has needs for information.

Literally anywhere. There's chemists who work in laboratories, but not even all chemists work in laboratories. Physicists work in laboratories as well as offices. Mathematicians work in offices for the most part. They're not scientists in the sense that they use the scientific method, but math is the "language of science" and mathematicians have worked on physics projects and even some Biology projects. There are scientists who work in an office on a computer most of the time, like computer scientists. If you study biology, or especially marine life, you'll spend a good amount of the time at the ocean or something. If you study plants, you can be anywhere. If you study the earth or past, you may be digging for fossils or something in a dessert for all I know. If you study space, you may go into space in a rocket. The list is practically endless...
