Manual---
Pull the speed sensor out using a 10mm socket, pull rubber plug on the firewall side of the transmission fill until ATF+4 drains out of hole where rubber plug was located. Carefully reinstall speed sensor. You can pull the speed sensor from the top but you need a 3/8 ratchet and a 6" extension, also when you fill you need a funnel with a really long hose about 24-30" you will use about 1.75 quarts of ATF+4 or Full Synthetic ATF.

I owned a 1995 neon sc with manual transmission. You don't add transmission fluid like you would a automatic. In fact, the type of fluid my neon required, could only be obtained through the dealer.
You add it at the same place you check it, unless it is a sealed for life unit.
You add transmission fluid down the transmission dipstick hole.
by the dipstick !! : )
AnswerYou add the transmission fluid through the tube at the back of the engine compartment in the dipstick that says trans fluid.
