Take out the dipstick, put a funnel in the tube and slowly pour tranny fluid in. Replace stick, drive to warm, check level, repeat as necessary.

You actually have to put it into the transmission fluid dipstick hole using a long funnel. I just did this tonight after speaking with my mechanic.
