Connect the green wire to the brown striped black wire.
the green is the signal wire and it goes to the negative side of the ignition coil
you take the blue wire and connect it with the red then connect it to the yellow then you cut the green wire and there you go!
Normally red or black is the hot wire and green is the ground. However someone may have used the green wire as the neutral wire which is normally white. Just connect the black wire from the light to the red wire and the white wire from the light to the green wire and see if it works. If not you have to pull the wires out of the ceiling box and see how they wired it.

Green typically represents a ground so you would connect to the bare wire at receptacle or look for a green headed screw.
Green and bare are both grounds and can be connected. To double check you could use an Ohm meter and make sure the green wire is connected to the cook-top chassis.
So far I've learned that the dark green wire connects to the PCM and the dark green/orange wire connects to the ASD (Auto Shut Down relay). Now to which terminals do they connect to on the alternator and how do you determine that?
You can't. Someone has removed wires you need. The green wire is ground (A safety wire), and does not connect to the contacts of the switch. That leaves you with one wire to use, which is one short of the minimum. Without more details on what you have I can't really explain further.
In the electrical code in use in the United States, black is the "hot" side of the line, white the "neutral" and green is always "Ground".
there will be a usb or wire with a green end on it, either plug in your usb or into the green port somewhere on your computer.
