Wiring diagrams for "cheap Chinese scooters" (of which this is, I assume, is one) are simply not "written in stone". Changes in wiring during a production run are commonplace, and availability of critical parts, from different suppliers, almost make sure no two scooters are identical, as far as wiring goes. We simply won't mention "professional" attempts at repair, that end up being butchery, plain, and simple.

The "heart" of any electric scooter is the "controller". ALL the wires end up here, and it provides the junction box to ALL the accessories. The leads in/out of the controller are usually marked (with stick on tags). It is fairly easy, with the aid of an ohm meter, to determine the cause of any trouble at this point.
