There is not one. The Heater core has Full flow all the time.
There is no shut off valve. But you can by pass the heater core by disconnecting the 2 hoses going to the heater core. And connecting them together. The only problem with this is that you won't have any heat in the winter.
How do u find a heater control valve on a 96 Ford e150 4.9
Look near or behind the alternator. The valve that controls flow of coolant to the heater core on my 1987 Aerostar is located on the left wall of the engine compartment. I imagine the 1991 is similar. Trace the heater hoses from the engine/water pump and you will find it.
You can find comparison videos for the Blackberry Bold Touch 9900 online at the YouTube website. Once on the website, type "Blackberry Bold Touch 9900 comparison" into the search field at the top of the page and press enter to bring up the videos.
Rarely do you find a bleeder valve on the heater. If there is one, it will be located on the highest point of the heater core connections from the engine. You can bleed the heater by turning it to hot and starting the engine. Use the bleeder valves on the engine or remove the radiator cap and run the engine until no more air bubbles are escaping. This should bleed all air from the heater core.
I had a W126 Benz (1981 280SE) on which the heater would not turn off on one side of the car (it has separate heaters for each side). The problem turned out to be a broken solenoid valve in the heater water supply. The way the heater works is: With the ignition off the heater valve springs open. When the ignition is turned on the heater valve automatically closes. When you then turn on the heater controls the valve opens again. I think the idea is that the heater valve gets "cycled" every time the car is used so that it doesn't get sticky. The electric solenoid that does the closing is easy to find by following the water pipes and will probably be on the firewall somewhere. They are supposed to be a throwaway part but I got mine open and soldered up the broken wire and all was good.
look right above the battery and you will find a TEE valve on a little black hose. mine has a blue valve on the tee pull it off and slide the other in
do you mean the temperature control valve actuator?--- the little motor that changes from hot to cold you have to take off the heater case cover under the dash on the passenger side-- 3 screws. in the center, just behind the console, is where you will find the actuator-- 2 screws and one elec plug
follow the heater hose at the rear of the engine and you will find it.
