The Mazda3 with the 2.3L engine has a permanent oil filter cannister with an internal replaceable element (just like most cars had 40 or more years ago). I forget exactly where the cannister is but it is clearly visible from underneath the car. If you have the 2.3L you probably aren't seeing it because you are looking for the typical "spin-off" throw-away type.
Behind the engine center near to firewall panel.
you should be able to find it on the rear of the engine, possibly under the intake manifold. the diagrams are hard to locate it in and i dont remember where i found mine either. hopefully this is a bit helpful.
You can find a Mazda Familia engine wiring guide in the owner's manual. You can also contact Mazda to obtain the diagram.
You do not need a photo. Just follow the fuel lines from the fuel tank to the engine and you will find the filter. If you find no filter then the filter is a permanent filter inside the fuel tank that is replaced when the fuel pump is replaced.
Follow the fuel lines forward to the engine from the fuel tank. Somewhere on the line you will find the fuel filter.
You won't find one. The Mazda MX-5 Miata Grand Touring doesn't have a cabin filter.
You can find an exploded view of the 1996 Mazda Millenia 2.5 liter engine at most Mazda dealerships. You can also find the exploded view in most Mazda service manuals.
Find out why it's running rich, fuel pressure regulator, air filter, etc....
The fuel pump is mounted on top and inside the fuel tank. The filter may be integrated into to fuel pump or it will be located between the fuel tank and the engine.
where can i find the transmission drain plug for the Mazda
this filter is right behind the motor on the firewall wich it sits in a filter holder
Directly under the intake manifold on the passenger side of the engine. If you have thin arms, it is possible to reach it from above the engine. Otherwise, if you remove the passenger side tire, you will find it there.
