You can find the 1991 Nissan starter motor relay switch in the fuse box. The starter motor relay switch will be in the third column, second from the bottom.
IS IN THE DRIVER SIDE OF THE ENGINE A LITTLE TOWARD THE BACK OF THE ENGINE
The starter in a 1991 Nissan Sentra is located on the driver's side of the engine compartment. It is easily spotted down in the gap between the engine head and the air intake and battery areas... It looks like a fat cylinder at the top of the engine and transmission joining.
Disconnect the positive battery cable, and replace the starter. 2 bolts, a couple of wires , and replace it. It's just that simple.
Ususally 2 bolts go from the engine side to the transmission and one from the transmission to the engine.
Your Nissan dealership can get one for you!
The 1991 Nissan Sentra GXE has a gas tank capacity of 13.2 gallons, and takes regular unleaded fuel. The Sentra was first produced in 1982.
Super Multiple Junction
The fuel pump relay on a 1991 Nissan Sentra is in the gas tank. To get to it you have to remove the back seat in the car and you will see a compartment that is at the top of the gas tank.
The starter relay can be found underneath the hood on a 1991 Nissan pickup. The starter relay is beside the battery on the passenger side.

It is a 13...
If it is anything like my 1991 Nissan Sentra (and it probably is), the solenoid is actually attached to the top of the starter. The starter is located underneath the car, attached just below the engine block but on top the transaxle (where the transmission connects with the axle) it is very difficult to get to, on mine I had to remove the air-intake manifold and a few mounting brackets below the car.
The speedometer is cable driven.
must remove oil filter to get starter out have fun
There is no 1991 VW Rabbit.
no power to starter on Nissan 300zx twin turbo
Most likely it's a CV joint.
MOST LIKELY YOU WILL NEED A HOIST TO EVEN SEE THE STARTER
no because the maxima is a 5 lug and the sentra is 4 lug
Someone tells me this could be to do with the starter motor
