An SSID isn't on a wii, its a name for your router on your computer so you have to find it on your computer first. On a Windows computer, go to Start>Control Panel>Network and internet Connections>; now you have a small screen that says, (in white) "Pick a Task..." and it lists several options, and below, "Pick a Task...", it says, (in white), "or pick a Control Panel icon". Now click: Wireless Network Setup Wizard>; this will bring up a small grey setup info box. Click: Next>Set up a new wireless network>; and at the top it should say: "Network Name (SSID)" followed by a box with your SSID in it!!! Hope I helped! I know how hard this is because i had to figure it out all by myself, and im only 13!! :). <3. God Bless.

An SSID is any name you want to give to your wireless network router (to identify it) up to 32 characters long.

Frequestly the SSID has a default that is supplied by the router manufacturer.

it is important ,not to broadcast ur ssid ,also change ur ssid name.
