on a 97 model the horn is located on the passenger side, just underneath the A/C dryer. you must remove the horn bracket to drop the horn and the 2 wires are then visable on the top of the horn. the bolt to the bracket is a very tight fit ,will probably cost you some skin!
the best way would be to locate the horn and disconnect (pull) one of the wires off of it. your horn fuse may work with other electrical items, so its best to disconnect from horn itself. hope this helps!
