Passenger mirror access is same as drivers side. Three screws accessible inside door panel to remove entire mirror assembly. To remove mirror within the mirror assembly it just pulls off - snap fit of mirror mount to drive.
You can get a mounting kit from the parts store, the metal piece comes out of the mirror by loosening an allen screw, glue the mount to the window as per instructions and when it is set slide the mirror on and tighten set screw.

Because you might want to place it in a different location, because of height of driver, or in my case , I own a driving school and we have to place another rearview mirror for our instructors. You need the following tools: Rear-view mirror, installation kit, screwdriver, a glass cleaner, razor blade, and crayon. One is required to wear the safety gear gloves and glasses. Mark the old mirror mount using the crayon and remove it using a razor then mount the new mirror on the same position.

If you look on the bottom side of the mount, there should be a hole or indention. There is a spring on the inside of that and it has to be depressed in order to remove the mirror.

I just purchsed a hard top to compliment my soft top 1/2 door 04 wrangler with a hard top. In so doing I found that the half doors and skins were not compatible withhard top... The good news is I can use the soft top with the full doors. I had to buy bracket that mount to the roll-bar to secure the soft top over the full door. The braket fastens to the bar with a large spin that is hand tightned.
There should be one torx screw on the bottom side of the mirror bracket, remove it and slide the mirror up, if the whole mirror has fallen off go to a parts store and they will have a kit to glue the windshield mount back on, then slide the mirror back on.
