there are several conections on b/switch if your looking at the right ones one should be batt feed pos outher should go to steering column conector toindicator stalk
First check the brake light fuse, if good, then test the brake light switch.
In the 1993 Chevy Caprice there is a brake sender located inside the steering column where the brake pedal is attached. Perhaps the brake lights are not working because of this, when a person hits the brakes. There could also be a fuse blown or a broken or shorted wire.
Check the brake light switch on the brake pedal. Might have to replace it.
brake light plunger switch on the brake pedal maybe faulty, remove it and connect the two wires together and pull apart and see if lights go on and off
on the brake pedal under the dash is a brake light switch. that when you depress the brake it turns your lights on. you might wanna check that
BEHIND THE BRAKE PEDAL
If the brake lights do not work on Chevy Venture van 2000, try to disconnect the brake switch. Then short the two contacts of the connector to check if the brake lights are now working.
The brake light switch is bad, look on top of the brake pedal under the dash and you will see the switch, replace it and you will have brake lights.
i have tail lights but do not have brake lights nor do i have turn signals. i have replaced brake switch and all bulbs
In a 89 Chevy caprice, your fuse box is located on the driver side under the emergency brake and trunk release switch.
No brake lights but turn signals work? Turn signal switch brakes route through it.
check the brake light switch that is on top of your brake pedal under the dash, could be out of adjustment or bad.
