Not to be rude, but the Great War (if your talking about World War One) did not take place in the United States of America. It took place in Europe, specifically Western Europe, like France and other countries in that area. If you meant where in the war did they enter or fight in, the answer would be all over France. I would recommend looking the Great War up in Wikipedia for more answers if you need them.
