The fuel pump relay should be in the power distribution box in your engine compartment, also the fuel pump inertia switch is in the right front passenger area ( 91 to 94 under the edge of the carpet) 95 and newer in the right hand corner above the carpet, but below the dash, or mounted on the right front kick panel.
the is a relay switch i think on the right side of the transmission housing up near the exaust if that is what you are asking DARKSEID007 My Advice: The relay should be located on the frame of the van behind the passenger side headlight inside of the engine compartment along side 2 other relays on a 3 prong bracket. I hope this helps you and if it still does not start then it is beyond my helpful area of knowledge. DARKSEID007
If a 2000 Grand Am sometimes has the heater blower working and sometimes it won't, the problem could be with the heater relay switch. The heater relay switch lets the heater blower know when to come on and when to go off. In most vehicles this switch is behind the glove compartment. This part sometimes gets corroded from condensation in this area.
According to the owner's manual in the power distribution box in the engine compartment (Ford recommends disconnecting your battery) Relay # 5 is the fuel pump relay , and also in the PD BOX is a 20 amp mini-fuse for the fuel pump relay + RAP module in location # 9 (Helpfull) ( P.S. - don't forget your fuel pump inertia switch , in the right front passenger area , by the right front kick panel )

Yes it does - I believe it is in the power distribution box in the engine compartment along with the fuel pump relay . Also , don't forget about the fuel pump inertia switch located in the right front passenger area , to the right of the transmission hump , on the toe board , just under the edge of the carpet.
Relay # 5 is the fuel pump relay in your power distribution box in your engine compartment , also in the PD BOX fuse # 9 is a 20 amp mini-fuse for your fuel pump relay and RAP module. Ford recommends disconnecting your battery before servicing anything in the PD BOX , which means your Explorer would need to relearn its idle , the radio stations and clock would need to be reset etc. Also , there is a fuel pump inertia ( shut off ) switch in the right front passenger area , in the right front corner by the kick panel
In the power distribution box in the engine compartment ( Ford recommends disconnecting your battery ) The # 5 relay is for the fuel pump and in location # 9 of the PD BOX there is a 20 amp mini fuse for the fuel pump relay and RAP module on a 1998 Ford Explorer . also the fuel pump inertia switch is in the right front passenger area , in the right front corner mounted on the toe board . If you don't see gas leaking or smell gas push the button down ( if it has popped up ) on the top of the switch to restore power to your fuel pump (Helpfull)

The starter inhibitor relay is located in the relay box just behind the headlight on the driver's side. It is Nissan part 25630-9662 and has six pins. There are two normally closed contacts that turn off cruise control when you start the engine. The other contacts are normally open and close to energize the starter solenoid when you start the engine. Power for the relay coil must pass through the transmission reverse/neutral safety switch when the transmission is in Park or Neutral. This switch is located on the side of the transmission and is reached from underneath on the front, driver's side. (Remove the plastic protective covering from underneath the engine in that area-it has about 10 screws.)
