Harrison is buried in an elaborate tomb near Cincinnati, Ohio. The tomb is just off US 50 at North Bend, Ohio. He was first buried in Congressional Cemetery in Washington. His body was moved to Ohio in June , 1871 and buried on July 7, 1871,

Harrison is interred in Crown Hill Cemetery, 700 West 38th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana . Both of his wives area buried nearby.
