Diwali is a five day celebration. It starts with Dhanwantari Triodasi also called Dhan Teras, followed by Narak Chaturdasi, which is the eve of Diwali. The third day of Diwali is the actual Diwali, when worship of Goddess Lakshmi is performed. On the fourth day of Diwali, Goverdhan Pooja is performed. The fifth day of the Diwali is called BhratriDooj and is a day dedicated to sisters.
