The coolant temperature sensor in a 2004 Ford Escape V6 is located near the front of the motor. It is down low near the water pump and in front of the oil filter.
P0452 indicates that the Fuel Tank Pressure(FTP) sensor circuit has low input voltage on that circuit. Possible causes: Fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor completely submerged in liquid fuel. Inside contamination of the electrical connector on the FTP sensor. FTP short to SIG RTN or PWR GND. Damaged FTP sensor. Damaged PCM.
P0451 - Evap Emission Control System Pressure Sensor Performance Improving my answer - P0451 - intermittant open or short in the fuel tank pressure sensor ( FTP ) or the FTP sensor signal
P0453 - Evaporative Emissions Control System Pressure Sensor High InputA P0453 DTC trouble code may be caused by one or more of the following:Open on Fuel Tank Pressure - FTP - sensor signal wireShort to voltage on FTP sensor signal wireBad FTP sensorAbnormally high pressure in fuel tank due to blockage in EVAP purge hoses or overfilled tankLoose/damaged FTP sensor connectorLoss of ground to the sensor
right (passenger) side - behind the cat conv.
Hopefully where the manufacturer installed it. Good luck.
what do i have to do to replace the front drive axles on a 2004 ford ecscap???
2005 Ford Escape ABS Sensor - from $26.49+ |
need to know the location of the crankshaft sensor on a 2003 ford escape
where is speedometer sensor on 2004 avalanche
The 2004 Ford Escape has 16 valves.
The coolant temperature sensor, on a 2005 Ford escape, can be changed by loosening the sensor retaining nut. Once the knot is removed the sensor will pull out.
