For a 1998 sienna van, there are two fuse boxes. The first is under the hood. If you are facing the engine, the are on the right side under a plastic cover. The fusable links are also located in this compartment. The other fuse box is in the interior. If you are sitting in the drivers seat, there is a small, hinged compartment on the lower left portion od the dashboard. The compartment clips onto two pins that also function as the hinge when you open the compartment. The other fuse box is behind the compartment, so open the compartment and when it stops pull the entire compartment piece toward you and up.

My answer is for a 2004 Sienna so hopefully for you it is the same for a 2005 Sienna. I noticed I suddenly had no power to anything in the van. I tested the battery and it had 12 volts. All the fuses were working.removed the 30 amp main fuse and volt tested the fuse contacts in the fuse box and had 2 volts.Checked wire at the alternator and it only had 2 volts. The fusable link , a wire that runs from the positive terminal on the battery to the bottom of the main fuse box had corroded.
