There was no place with that precise spelling in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. There are many possible place names that might have been distorted when pronounced by one person and heard by another who was not familiar with the places or the language.

One possibility is Zuratyn, which would have been pronounced the way an American would today pronounce "zur-a-tin" but if the "n' was not emphasised, you could easily end up with "Zurati".

This place was in the Austrian province of Galicia, in the Kamionka Strumlova administrative district and the Busk Judicial District. It is now in the modern country of Ukraine.
