a 97 should NOT be having problems with the O2 sensors. but there are many. A couple right behind the manifolds and also on the exhaust pipe. But there could be many other reasons the O2 sensor could be showing up as a problem code. your bank 2 sensor is the o2 sensor on your passenger side exhaust manifold
bank 2 is the opposite side of cylinder #1. check the plugwires to see what side #1 cylinder is on and its the other side oxygen sensor
there is no map sensor on it

You can find the 1995 Pontiac Firebird 3.4 liter engine IAT sensor on the back of your engine. The IAT sensor will be a few inches above the transmission.

Remove the oxygen sensor vacuum to. Remove the oxygen sensor screws. Reverse the process to install the new oxygen sensor.
