I have Nissan Serena Japan import, right hand drive . Engine size is 1997 diesel automatic, 8 seat. The thermostat is under the driver seat. Lift the driver seat and you you will see the thick hose water coming from the engine and goes to the radiator, lower part. Where the pipe connects the engine there is the thermostat. It has 3 screws, remove them and remove the metal part and the thermostat is attached to the hole.
