As you are facing the engine compartment, the housing is under the plastic engine cover on the right side. Follow the black radiator hose to the thermostat's housing. I removed the engine mount bolt so that I could move the wiring loom to gain acces to the bolts on the housing. very easy to do 15mm on the motor mount, 10mm on the bolts for the the housing. I did not remove the hose, it easily came up off the block, and then removed the thermostat, replaced. Did not loose any coolant and did not have to bleed the system. About 8 for the thermostat, and 3 for the gasket. Very easy job.
