Raise your hood. Look at Right Hand back firewall. (Passenger side)
You can see the rear of blower motor.
Look beside it there is a plug (I believe to the bottom right)
The small rectangle assembly under that plug is your resistor block.
Remove the 2 bolts that hold it to the firewall and pull it out.
Reverse procedure to reinstall.
Then you will be cooking -w- heat again
On newer Expeditions it is behind the glove compartment in the cabin area. Simply open the glove compartment and press outside corners in and pull the golve compartment all the way forward. This allows easy access to the blower motor resistor. Just changed mine in less than 5 minutes. I wish this information had been on line. Now it is.
How do you replace a fan blower resistor on a vauxal Corsa?
Blower fan resistor controls electric current to the fan motor to maintain different speeds.
resistor for fan blower is in back of glove box, beside the blower itself.
the blower fan resistor is located in behind the glove compartment to the left of the blower motor. you have to remove glove compartment to get at resistor.
The blower resistor has failed. The blower resistor has failed.
The blower motor fan cools the resistor so the resistor is usually located close to the blower.
The blower fan motor is worn out.
the blower fan resistor has gone bad.
The blower motor resistor has failed. The blower motor resistor has failed.
Either the blower motor fan switch is bad or the blower motor resistor pack is defective. It is more than likely the blower motor resistor pack.
where is the switch resistor on 2003 buick
it is under the glove compartment on the passenger side of the truck
