The thermostat is located where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine.
You probably mean a Ford E150 van. On my 1994 E150, the thermostat is behind the air cleaner. Remove the aircleaner assembly. Remove the air hoses that go to the throttle body. There are 3 different motors listed for the 87 E150 Ford van. The 4.9 the 5.0 and the 5.8 all have the thermostat located where the top radiator connects to the motor in the housing that the hose connects to. It will be under the inlet on top of the engine block.
Flush your radiator coolant and replace thermostat
I just bought a thermostat for a 1995 Club Wagon (essentially an E150 Econoline) with a 5.8 L engine. They sold me a 192 degree thermostat. Is that what you wanted to know?
There should be a foot switch to the left of the gas pedal.
In the fuse box.
It is very simple to change the thermostat in a 2004 E 150 Van. The thermostat can be found by following the upper radiator hose. After the thermostat is found, disconnect the radiator hose and drain it. Then, you will remove the two bolts that are holding the thermostat housing place. Remove the old thermostat and replace it with a new one.
It is located on the Left Side ( facing the engine) by the Alternator.
if so it would be between the door and gas tank inline....prolly back around the tank...itll be round and silver........
On some E150 it is located under the dash on the drivers side. On 2003s it is located in the left (drivers side) quarter panel below the window, near the drivers side door frame.
on the drivers side on the trans.
