Darbandixan (Darbandikhan) is a Kurdish town in the Iraqi Kurdistan (krg). The town location, 67km south east of Sulaimania city the province capital of Sulaimania.The town popelation roughly about 40,000. The demographic of the town %97 Kurds the rest are Arab migrant from the south of Iraq some Aseryan and migrant worker from Iran and South Asia.The town is famous for it's dam which located in the north east of the town on the Sirwan rever, it's useful for agrecultere and genarate electricity.
