the sensor is in the post behind the drivers door at the bottom , this sensor turns your headlights on in daylight mode when car is started but it is not the sensor that turns them on brighter ( or the dash lights ) automatically when dark
Dirty/faulty dawn/dusk light sensor
I presume you're asking about a daylight running light switch? As far as I know, there is no such switch in a Sunfire. They're on when the car is running and is gear. FriPilot

i am pretty sure there are no daytime running lamps on a 90' integra...
Check the daytime running light module
they dont have day times....
The sensor/switch in the doorwell probably broke off when it was closed
check fuse for the running light module.
Yukon daylight running the light relay switch can be located in the fuse box. The location of the fuse can be found on the inside cover of the fuse box.
If it's doing this while the vehicle is running, it would be because the daytime running light system of the Grand Am included the instrument panel lights. Prior to the daylight sensor becoming standard, on some GM products, only the headlights were part of the daytime running lights system, while on others, it included all the lights.
I don't have an answer to the question but i would also like to know how to have daylite running lights on my 98 b3000.
