Need to know what you are working on. YEAR AND ENGINE SIZE.
from the intake manifold.
u can ethier go to a dealer or u can try this, the fuel line travels from the gas tank along the left side of the frame to a fuel filter.(the fuel line is blue)(the excess gas runs back to the tank in the yellow fuel line) from there it travels to the fuel pump also on the left side of the frame. then the the fuel line runs from the fuel pump up past the exhaust into the intake manifold (MAKE SHURE THE FUEL LINE IS SECURED AWAY FROM THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD)
A cracked fuel line in the intake manifold will spray fuel into the manifold where it drains into the oil pan or a fuel pressure regulator with a bad diaphragm will allow fuel to flow into the vacuum line that attaches to the regulator to let it meter more fuel under acceleration this fuel also winds up in the oil pan.
under the car, it runs from the gas tank to the fuel rail on the intake manifold.
You will need the special fuel line tools available cheap at your local autoparts store.
Try insulating the fuel line with a NON-FLAMMABLE material as it passes by the engine up to the fuel pump. Especially protect the fuel line from the heat of the exaust manifold.
The fuel line will come from the gas tank and go up the engine. The fuel line goes into the tank.
It hooks up to the Injector Rail where the injectors are inserted into the Intake Manifold.
Cracked intake manifold...
under the upper plenum of the intake manifold it is round and is bolted to the fuel line and has a vaccum line attached to it. you need to remove the upper plenum to access it
on the drivers side of the fuel rail part of the intake manifold, it has a vacuum line connected to the top of it.
It runs along the frame rail from the fuel tank to the intake manifold on the passengers side.
