It regulates the pressure coming in and out the egr valve.
at rear of engine below egr
It does not have an EGR pressure sensor.
The egr valve is located right under the air intake line right behind the center of the motor by the fire wall
It will be on the left side of the intake manifold, under the map senor. Towards the back
egr pressure sensor is located next to the egr cylinoid which is next to the egr pressure valve, they are in back of motor as you pop the hood the egr pressure sensor is locaied on left with one wire haness and 2 vacumm lines connected to it and has 2 small bolts holding it on its an easy change
On a Dodge transmission it measures the amount of up-shift pressure and relays that info to the computer.
It should be on the upper left side of the firewall. There is typically a single vacuum line running to it, along with one electrical connection. Most Mazda EGR boost sensors are made by Hitachi, so if it is the original boost senor, it should say Hitachi on it somewhere. If you follow the EGR lines around, you should find it eventually. By the way, EGR boost senor issues are a common problem on all Mazda's made around this time and a dealer should know how to fix it.
If it is a back pressure regulated type of egr, yes.
you mean whats a fuel tank pressure senor? Well is a senor wire thats located around the fuel tank it basically holds pressure in to the fuel system and when is goes bad usually the engine light will be on and maybe bad fuel mileage to.
Dpfe sensor is the delta (differential) pressure feedback egr (exhaust gas recirculation) it monitors the pressure on the egr valve to make sure it is working.
7.3L does not have EGR Valve.
