Look under left side bottom of Primary and find a rubber hose that is clamped to a metal plug or lug, loosen the clamp and let the oil drain, ensure you remome the oil tank filler cap, your oil is drained out of the tank. remove the oil filter. Replace the hose on to the metal lug and tighten clamp. Put 4 oz of oil in new filter and hand tighten filter, poor the other 3 qts of oil minus the 4 oz's in the Oil Tank, tun engine over a couple of times before starting. Start engine and make sure oil warning light goes off. Total engine oil is 96 oz's or 3 qt's. (The plug under the primary case is to drain primary oil only.)
show you motor oil drain plug on a 2006 harleydavidson streetbob
The drain plug is under the engine, near the kick stand.
The oil drain plug is at the bottom of the oil tank (for engine). Bottom rear of primary case for primary & transmission.
That plug is the drain plug for the primary and transmission oil supply.
the trans and primary fluid on a sportster are the same (1 qt sport trans) look for the drain under the derby cover.
It will depend upon whether you mean the engine oil drain or the Primary/Transmission oil drain. The oil drain for the engine oil is actually NOT a plug. Underneath the engine is a hose that is clamped to a boss on the frame. Loosening the worm clamp and pulling the hose off the boss will cause the oil to dump (you did put the drain pan under there, didn't you?)
It's a hose from the tank to a dummy fitting on the frame....unclamp the hose and the oil runs out. When changing the engine oil, don't forget to also change the primary/transmission oil.
The drain bolt in under at the rear of the engine.
The engine oil drain is a hose which clips to the frame under the engine. The hose has a plastic plug in it secured by a hose clamp. Loosen the clamp and pull the plug out to let the oil drain out. Remove the cap/dipstick from the oil tank to let air in the top of the tank and assist the draining. The Clip is on the Lefthand side of the Frame underneath the Primary Cover..
The drain plug for the engine is on the bottom of the pan There is no drain plug on the transaxle.
The location is engine specific. Which model Sentra do you have and which engine does it have?
there is no need for an engine oil drain plug, because when the oil filter is removed and the oil is drained from the oil tank (by way of the oil tank drain hose located by/under the battery box) there is no oil that remains in the engine.
