It is located/accessed from the engine bay, passenger side of the firewall.
diagram for a 92 Chevy van g20 Heater core
the heatercore is most likely plugged up; get a new one; they are about 50 bucks; the ducts could have fallen off or rotted away but it think your heater core is plugged; a flush MIGHT help but a flush after your new heater core is installed would be money better spent
It won't have a relay. Usually it is the switch, or the fan motor that goes bad.
It is low on the car, just in front of (and inboard) the front passenger wheel. It is a filter-element type design, contained in an aluminum housing which hangs down vertically. the can is silver and is hard to miss. You can see it without raising the car.
in the exhaust pipe right under the manifold it is easy to get to right in front under the hood
Under dash board on passenger side.
toyotas have a resistor bank in line with heater motor each speed has a different value resistor. there is no resistor on high speed. it is located on passenger side in heater duct I thank it has two screws holding it on when you get it out you will see the resistors burned
may be your heater control valve
The problem is either the blower motor resistor or the blower speed selector switch.
Open both front doors and remove everything from the firewall to the front seat. No joke.
Blown fuse, defective blower motor, defective wiring, defective blower motor resistor pack, or in rare instances a defective blower motor speed control.
The 1991 Honda accord blower motor resistor is located on the firewall in the engine compartment. The blower motor resistor will be on the passenger side of the firewall.
That's a two-part question: The resistor is located behind the glovebox--you'll see it once the glovebox is removed. Even if the resistor is burned out, the blower should still work with the dial on the highest setting--the resistor controls the flow of current for settings 1, 2, and 3 on the dial. If the blower doesn't work at all, it's more than the resistor causing problems. If the heat doesn't work in colder weather, the thermostat may be bad. --IB
I DON'T BELIEVE THERE IS A BLOCK HEATER.
Heater core is inside dash board by firewall.
I have a 1999 van. The heater motor needs to be removed. It is located in front of the passenger side, 3 brass bolts screw in vertically. With motor removed you can disconnect the wiring to the motor. Follow the wiring the other way and you will find the resistor, also held in with small brass screws. For mine, it was not necessary to completely remove them, just unscrew about 3/8 inch, then the resistor can drop down and slide out. YYou are better off kneeling on some padding outside the passenger door with a light and some small sockets
Replace your heater selector switch
