On top at the front or rear of the throttle body after the black hose connects from the air filter box. I would go to a parts store to see what one for your car looks like and go from there. It's prob called a sensor. Or an idle control valve, Air sensor, throttle position sensor, o2 sensor on the motor and the outlet pipe next to your cat. converter.
Get some throttle body creaner take the hose from the air cleaner off get someone to hold the gas to the floor, (WITH OUT IT RUNNING) spray the heck out of it, It's ok if it runs all over the motor, befor buying anything. Good Luck!
it's the idle control valve, $60 part, or the computer.
The Throttle Position Sensor (TPS Sensor) is located underneath the air intake< right below the Idle Control Valve. If your new, Find where your throttle cable hooks up & its right there. Its on the throttle body. When you follow the throttle cable, you will see it go to a lever that turns a shaft. The TPS is on the opposite end of the shaft.
The idle adjustment screw of the idle control valve is what needs adjusting. Either opening or closing the valve moves the throttle plate and adjusts the idle.
The idle air control valve is on the the bottom of the throttle body.
i believe so and i think its called a Idle Air Control Valve
The Idle Air control valve is located on the side of the throttle plate.
the Idle control valve is on the driver side of the throttle body. It has a hose coming from the intake the boot and the other is going into the motor.
there's a little screw right underneath the throttle linkage.
In most 1990s and later vehicles you cannot adjust the idle. It is controlled by the ECM or computer. An idle that is not correct indicates something like a vaccuume leak or a sensor issue.
The idle is controls ONLY by the PCM. Replace your ECTS along with cleaning the Idle Air Control valve located on the throttle body.
It is on the left side of the TBI Throttle body, and it screews into the side of it. with a electric connector plug on it. ( Idle speed control) The EGR valve is on the lrft side of the intake manifold, close to the valve cover.
On the throttle body
