The temp blend door actuator would be found behind the dash assembly mounted to the HVAC box. Unfortunately the dash needs to be removed to gain access to the actuator.

What is an imput and output in control technology?

in control technology an input would be a temperature or something of that nature derived from the process and an output would be a signal to control a control valve or actuator that effects the input signal.

What is the difference between a valve and actuator?

actuator is a mechanism that will responds to hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical signal ,it is used to control the valve that to be in open or close condition.

Where is the temperature control valve on a 2001 Chevy s10?

It's a temp blend door and actuator, and it is located behind the dash assembly, connected to the HVAC box. The dash assembly needs to come out to access the blend door actuator.

What is bench set in control valve?

Bench Set on a Control Valve is basicly on a pnumatic control valve , it's the amout of air required to start to move a uncoupled actuator to full stroke. Example, if the bench set on a valve actuator is 3 to 15 PSI, it should take 3 PSI of pressure to overcome the spring and start moving the actuator, and at full stroke, it should take 15 PSI.

What is the differences of direct acting actuator and reverse acting actuator?

When a pressure signal is applied, the valve shaft moves in the direction opposite that of the direct-acting actuator, but it follows the same operating principle. In the reverse-acting actuator, the valve shaft is pulled into the actuator by the application of a pressure control signal.

Where do you find the heater control valve on a 2000 Chevy Silverado?

do you mean the temperature control valve actuator?--- the little motor that changes from hot to cold you have to take off the heater case cover under the dash on the passenger side-- 3 screws. in the center, just behind the console, is where you will find the actuator-- 2 screws and one elec plug

How do you replace 2002 blend door for Pontiac Grand Prix?

Temperature Actuator Replacement LHRemoval Procedure1.Remove the left instrument panel insulator (this is the carpeted cardboard piece above the brake pedal that connects to the knee bolster)2.Remove the knee bolster (this is the pad below the steering column)3.Remove the steering column filler (this is the metal piece behind the knee bolter, under the steering colum) (4 larger bolts, and I think 2 smaller ones)4.Disconnect the electrical connector from the temperature actuator.5.Remove the HVAC Con (HVAC Control) MiniFuse #27 from the IP electrical center.6.Remove the mounting bolts from the temperature actuator.7.Remove the temperature actuator.Installation Procedure1.Position the temperature actuator, then align the slots in the electric actuator driver to the flats on the temperature valve shaft.2.Slide the electric actuator driver onto the shaft, while aligning the actuator locating hole to the forward alignment pin on the HVAC module case. The actuator driver should completely seat onto the temperature valve shaft and the mounting holes should be flush with the mounting bosses on the HVAC module case.3.Install the mounting bolts to the temperature actuator.Tighten the temperature actuator bolts to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).4.Connect the electrical connector to the temperature valve electric actuator.5.Install the knee bolster.6.Install the left instrument panel insulator.7.Install the HVAC Con (HVAC Control) MiniFuse #27 from the IP electrical center.Temperature Actuator Replacement RHRemoval Procedure1.
