It's not even NEAR the firewall. It's toward the front. Above and almost in the middle front. It's black. It looks like it has a big black disk on top. Look up a picture for the EGR and then you'll know what you're looking for. It will also have a huge nut to the left side with a metal tube hooked to it. That is your EGR tube.
