If you look at the air filter box you will see a black plastic hose about 4 inches around coming from it and going to the engine. Now just as the hose comes out of the air filter box you will see a electronic device with electric connecter hooked to it in the hose. ThaT IS THE mass aIR FLOW SENSOR.
if the engine is backfiring it will damage the maf,.
It does not have a fuse,
The MAF is located on the air intake manifold in between the block and the air filter (housing).
That vehicle does not use a maf sensor.
That year did not have a MAF sensor / Mass air flow sensor.
It doesn't have a maf sensor, it uses a map sensor.
It doesn't have a MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor.
A MAF sensor was not used in 1994. It don't have one.
The IAT sensor is built into the MAF sensor and tht is mounted in the air intake hose that comes out of the air filter box and goes to the engine throttle body housing. If you look at the air filter box you will see a electrical device in the intake hose right where it hooks to the air filter box. That is the MAF sensor.
in your car
the 1999 Toyota corolla does not use a maf but it uses a MAP sensor located somewhere around the intke manifold
The 1994 S10 uses a MAP sensor, not a MAF sensor. We need to know size engine you have in that S10.
