where is the map sensor located on a 2005 gmc envoy
The map sensor on Safari 4.3 L and Astro vans are accessed through the inside engine cover. Once you remove the engine cover you can spot the air intake for the throttle body . The map sensor is to the right of the air intake (passenger side) about 2 - 3 inches, towards the rear of the van
The MAP Sensor on the GMC Sonoma is located in the engine compartment just to the left of the alternator. The MAP Sensor is usually colored silver or shows a gold tint.
Mas air flow sensor
I just did this the other day. When you take the cover off the engine in the cab look up on the top of engine. Look for a small rectangle with 2 screws on either end. That's the map sensor. Remove the 2 screws and it out. Simple.
i need a diagram of wher the map sensor is.
It doesn't have a MAF sensor, the Map sensor is on the front of the throttle body.

The map sensor comes standard on a 1998 Toyota Rav4. It is typically located on the dashboard panel on the drivers side of the car.
I'm not a mechanic / technician but I checked www.motorcraft.com ( all 3 engines ) and it does not list a MAP sensor
A 1998 Jeep Cherokee does not have a mass airflow sensor. It uses a manifold pressure sensor, MAP, which is on the rear of the intake manifold.
Basically, yes.
