usually there are 2 oxygen sensors on the later models, one for each cylinder head. The upstream 02 sensor can be found right below the exaust manifold flanges and above the catalitic converter. The downstream is in the exaust pipe, ahead of the main catalist.
I'm not a mechanic / technician but on a 1988 Ford Ranger there might be ( 1 ) oxygen sensor ( upstream sensor )
The O2 sensor after the catalytic converter.
the o2 sensor is located on the exaust manifold
Bank 1 is the passenger side of the engine in your 3.0 liter Ford Ranger Sensor 1 ( upstream sensor ) is in the exhaust before it enters the catalytic converter ( either in the exhaust manifold or exhaust pipe )
P0153....O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 2 Sensor 1)
Counterclockwise.
usually bank 1 is the bank with # 1 cylinder in it and sensor # 1 is the front o2 sensor(usually in the manifold). You will need a O2 sensor socket or a 22mm wrench or deep socket.
I don't believe there is a Carbon Dioxide sensor on any vehicle. Answer I work at advance auto parts and have NEVER heard of one. Newer vehicles do have O2 sensors.
CHECK FUEL PUMP REGULATOR, I HAD THE SAME.
Wher is the o2 sensor on a 2006 ford f150
if there is an 02 sensor in your car, then someone put it in there. you can't have one as a stock part. considering it's a top-heavy vehicle.
Trouble code P0133 means: O2 sensor circuit,slow response (bank 1,sensor 1)
