It's under the plenum in the back of the engine.
Wete does the pcv tubing go on1999 chevy lumina
the pcv is located under the fuel injection plenum, towards the back of the engine as opposed to some newer models that have this valve located in the front of the engine on the valve cover
typically in the valve cover.
I have the repair manual in front of me (Haynes), and it says that the Lumina has the PCV valve in the valve cover. Hope this helps? On the 1992 Sable with either the 3.0L or 3.8L it is on the back valve cover (closest to the passenger compartment). It is harder to get to the PCV on the 3.8L engine. The actual PCV is connected to a rubber grommet on the engine valve cover and the other side PCV there is a hose that leads to another part of the engine.
The PCV valve on a 1992 Chevy 1500 350 is located on the intake manifold which is on the passenger side of the vehicle and to the right of the throttle. It has two bolts that hold it in place.
Passinger side valve cover.
The PCV valve is located in the rear valve cover next to the firewall. It can be reached and changed without rotating the engine forward although it is a bit of a struggle.
The PCV valve is located on the backside valve cover, its towards the drivers side of the valve cover, tough to get at not much room, just changed mine.
where is the PCV valve located on a 2004 chevy tahoe
where is the pcv valve on a 1992 f150 with 5.0 liter
All engines have a PCV valve.
The PCV Valve on a 1995 Chevy Lumina 3.4L is located in the line that comes off the rear intake manifold between the throttle body & the intake. This line is on the back side of the throttle body and intake manifold where the two come together and make a "L" shape. The middle of the "L" shape has a approx. 1/2" rubber line that comes out and is held in place by a sqweeze tight mettle clamp. If you follow that line for aprox. 6" you will come to the PCV Valve. Mine was covered with another 1" hose over the top of it, so you will need to remove that carefully. The bottom of the PCV Valve is a plastic line. You do not need a L shape PCV valve, my 3.4L lumina needed a straight PCV Valve. it only took me 4 hours to find it :(
