Along the top of the valve cover - along the back side. It has a black tube between it and the intake manifold. It is a little black plastic piece in the shape of an "L".

PCV stands for Positive Crankcase Ventilation, is a valve that releases air by turbulance created inside the engine when the crankshaft and piston are turning while engine is running.
It may be a stuck pcv valve.
It's basically a "plug-and-play" installation. Simply pull the hoses off the ends of the current PCV and replace it with the new PCV. Replacement is reverse of removal.
On the v6 its on the front valve to the far left side. You will see a rubber hose which goes into a 90 degree bend into the valve cover, slide that out.. Voila
