Where is the PCV valve on a 94 Ford Ranger 4 liter 5spd?

Under the hood on the left-hand (drivers side) valve cover. It's mounted in a rubber grommet towards the rear.The crankcase vent hose is plugged into it.

You could have the 2.9 liter , the 3.0 liter " Vulcan " or the 4.0 liter V6 engine . They are all over head valve / pushrod designs in a 1992 Ford Ranger

I was looking on fordparts.com at the 2004 Ford Ranger with the 3.0 liter V6 engine and it doesn't list an EGR valve for the 3.0 liter like it does for the 4.0 or 2.3 liter

According to Gates ( they make timing belts etc. ) the 2.3 liter - 4 cylinder engine in a 1989 Ford Ranger is NOT an interference engine so there should be no valve damage

There is no 2.8 Liter in a 1989 Ford Ranger. The Ranger V6is a 2.9 Liter and the distributor rotates clockwise.
